as you may not know, Acarrix is not what you might think he is.
in the past, Acarrix helped the purities to save the town from the portals corruption and both of the two worlds with it.
after the towns saved, CJ offers Acarrix if he wants to be part of their team, but he rejected the offer and flew off with the with Zeno and Timepess.
he doesn't mean to reject it,it was because of some one trying to pull him back, because of his part of himself that he doesn't want to talk about which it's his dad.
and as you can see, this is the scene where after Cloud defeated him, he is alone in his room at his lair with a mysterious black shadowy mist with four eyes behind him.
it may seem scary but you will get the ideal with the hint.
