Inspired by Margaret Mitchell´s "Gone with the Wind".
Autumn 1864. Panic and confusion overwhelm the population as the news spread that the Yankee troops are advancing Atlanta. After the burning of the depot warehouses, the city catches fire. Having managed to get a horse and an old carriage, Scarlett rides through the blazing streets to find herself at last on an empty road out of Atlanta...
...With red and crimson glare of fire against the black-blue-grey colours of the darkening sky in the background, with the sick Melanie and her newborn baby lying in the cart, along a broken road snaking its way through shrubs and withered greenery, Scarlett is driving through the night to Tara.
