This illustration was made for Marcos Nascimento, a Brazilian fanzine editor. He is the creator of Raio Negro 2 (what means "Black Bolt" in Portuguese), based on comics he drew for his own entertainment when he was a teenager. "Raio Negro" it's also the name of a Brazilian comic book superhero published in the 1960 and created l by late writer/artist Gedeone Malagola. Raio Negro 1 was very similar to Green Lantern Hal Jordan in the origin story and powers, but in his secret identity he was a Brazilian Air Force pilot.
