Higanbana, also known like Lycoris or Spider lily is a symbol of lonliness. In Japan, these flowers are planted in cemeteries, as it is believed that they bright up the lives of the dead people. After the massacre of the Uchiha clan, many people died and no one was left alive. Even the killer was living his life in anticipation of death. Because it's not a life, but an existence. Sasuke was living in fear and desire for revenge. A broken man, left all alone. It was their general loneliness that we decided to depict. We think that these flowers correspond with the lifes of Itachi and Sasuke. Lonely, separated people, on whose way there will still be a lot of blood, on the place of which these beautiful flowers will later grow.
