The Melody of Love

He asked me to sit down, then he gave live to his violin with a beautiful melody. The music started with joy but then had stormy moments. Then he gave way to sadness to finally fill with vitality and happiness.
Suddenly, I realized that all the emotions we had experienced since we met were contained in that piece, and to my surprise, what prevailed was a sound full of warmth. A harmony that could well take the form of a fire or a caress. Was that me for Maurice? What did he mean by that music?
I could not hold back the tears at the expression I was touching. His eyes were closed and he smiled, even when the piece became terrible. Like a Christ who carries his cross with a smile, Maurice told me what I had made him feel with my mistakes, without reproach me, opening his arms to welcome me as I was.
