Process: I started this artwork by making a silhouette of the character. The major thing for me to decide was skin tone that matches with underwater situation. When I chose skin color, it didn't match much so after observations, I chose purple. It came out great. I applied shades to the sculpture that was looking in upward direction. I chose center-left position as the position of light source so I applied shades according to it. For the eyes, I thought that blue color will suit well but multi-colored stand more (because the whole theme was blue). For the hair, this time I used watercolor pens (watercolor (opaque), watercolor(mix)) and applied different shades of blue according to the position and used smudge tool with lower opacity. This created a fluffiness in the hairs. Then I added another layer and drew strands of hair mostly white strands. This looked as if the hairs are shining. highlights are added in ADD blending mode.
