The red-eyed treefrog (Agalychnis Callidryas) is native to neotropical rainforests, spanning from Mexico, through central america, all the way to Colombia. It is characterized by its red eyes, vibrant green, blue and yellow body, white soft belly and its orange feet and toes. The frog is considered a Costa Rican national treasure (albeit not officially) due to its sheer abundance all throughout the country's rainforests, where you'll easily find them roaming around, making it the most popular frog of Costa Rica and an icon of the country.
