Wanting to get use to the tools I have and techniques I know, I've started doing fanart on Artist Trading Cards. Traditionally, these are 2.5 x 3.5 inch Bristol board cards that are drawn/painted/whatever on and then given to or traded with other artists. It's a fun, little project and I just added a digital twist to it, though I can print these on cardstock and trade them out if I want to. A proof of concept for future projects.
I used Adobe Fresco for PC and iPad OS for this illustration. I started it on my iPad Air 4th Gen and then moved on to PC using a Wacom Intuos Pro tablet. I did a few final touches on Photoshop since it has some features not yet available on Fresco such as stroke or pixilate filters.
Game Grumps have long been my comfort videos whenever I am working on something and need noise in the background or just need a good hard laugh to get through a miserable day.
