August is a very hot headed person and although she has a hard time showing her true feelings around people. Underneath her headstrong bravo is a person of great pain. Reading, what used to be a fun task only reminds her of a dark time in her past.
Since Yearly village is a village that has four seasonal gates August is from the Summer gate. She was one of the chosen sixteen children(That includes the four seasons not just months of the year) To protect Yearly
This eventually would be the origin of why The months are called what they are called. Why January? Why March? Yearly village is the hero origins of the Months of the year. (If they were people).
