Beside Rendang which have gone international, there're other kinds of delicious food around me.
I love Ketoprak and Opor the most. You can find Ketoprak anywhere on the side street, and you can make Opor by yourself.
Although Pempek is from Palembang, not my area. But Pempek can be found in every traditional restaurant too. It has sour and spicy taste! Even I can't describe the sensation of the taste. I recommend this for the first food you should try in Indonesia.
Rujak Es Krim is a treet food like Martabak. People think this is a weird combination. Because it mixes gravy chili with ice cream. But I love it! Dare to try? And Martabak is a sweet food cake-like, it has so many fill inside. Some people call it "Terang Bulan", because it looks shining like the moon (maybe?) lol.
There are two "Soto" here. Yeah, actually Indonesia has many kinds of "Soto", which one do you want to try?
Ayam Geprek has the best taste of chili. But don't try if you can't hold the hot!
