He was gentle, extroverted, and kind; she was quiet, introverted, and burdened by depression. Life had weighed heavily on her—studies, family, self-doubt—all conspiring to dull her spirit.
When he invited her at this place on 14th March, road painted with pi. She was silent but his words wove a web of infatuation around her, each word a thread pulling her closer. He offered the warmth she had craved, a softness that soothed her wounded soul.
They walked together, & he led her to a tall building, challenging her mind with IQ test. She knew the answers but found herself lost in the atmosphere he created, his stories of beautiful places making her feel as if she traveled with him.
As the sun set, he told her to make more stories to share with grandchildren. She smiled & whispered, "I’ll tell them about these memories with you." The memory will linger in her heart, small light in her darkness. Whenever in stress, she closes her eye and feels herself sitting under this tree.
