on the mountain of ihdontrus, it is forbidden by sacred law for the gods to interact with mortals. so much as watching them will get you exiled. without ihdontrus, a god is "nothing." until caelus came along.
trillions of years ago, caelus was caught having an affair with a mortal. he was exiled. normally, a god exiled from ihdontrus loses his powers and whatever he was the god of goes to the next upcoming baby god. caelus was different. he was born to the two rulers of the entire world, day and night. since he inherited most of both of their powers, it would simply be impossible to strip them all from him. his parents didn't know that.
when caelus was exiled, he had a sliver of power left. he trained that power and eventually regained strength. as of right now, he does not trust any of the gods or ihdontrus and is residing by himself. that is, until apollo came along and changed everything...
