With all my fanart I try and create detailed scenic illustrations that tell a story of not just the characters but the world they are in. I have been reading Rumiko Takahashi's Ranma 1/2 again recently and wanted to create something to reflect the tone and time period the story takes place in. I also have been learning Japanese so I tried to put my kanji skills to the test for the signs.
