Mangolds are very sadistic fruit.They often disguise themselves as normal mangoes.Often placing themselves on islands,especially ones where people are more likely to get stranded.Once a person has eaten one of these fruits,they drive them insane and cause them to disfigure,torment,and kill others with them.When the other people have died,the insane person feeds on their remains,feeding the plant's seed growing inside their stomach.This will continue until the plant has completely overgrown the whole body,killing the person and restarting the cycle.
