This piece was heavily inspired by the 1980’s era of Japanese woodblock art. I thought that the “1980’s mode” of yandere sim would be perfect in this style. The artist Tatsumi Shimura was my main inspiration. This particular scene captures the eerie, unsettling Ryoba Aishi after her victory of the trial, threatening the journalists life and returning to her beloved senpai to finally confess her undying love. Unfortunately for him, this wasn’t the last he was going to be seeing of Ryoba.
