Showing flat colours is trendy, right?
Anyway, I want to go a bit through the designs
Emu's design was originally made for a project sekai design contest, the theme was winter clothing. The idea was that the flames/wings of a phoenix would keep her warm in cold winter. But the more I kept working on it, the more it looked like a fancy night dress with a weird oversized jacket, so I decided to use it for this project instead+I thought I'd fail

For Nene, I remember in an interview a few months after the game came out the devs saying something along the lines of Nene's inspiration was a forest fairy (don't quote me on that tho) but in the story, she's very much a mermaid, so I tried mashing the two concepts together.

I want to say more, but I'm out of characters, so 1. I want to add Rui, who has a leftover from another contest and Tsukasa. Also, this is for me to practice shading+dif art styles, so you're not going to see this shaded. A proper illustration is planned for... the future
