Any IZ ship is automatically an au imo. There’s no love in IZ. anyhow, I ship ZaGr if anything, And I feel like it would go down like this; however they got together, idk, go read a fanfic. But once they’re together, ZIM doesn’t know much about love, since it seems irkens either don’t, or can’t love .so maybe they cuddle when they’re alone sometimes, an occasional kiss on the cheek, but ZIM doesn’t know what these mean or what the point of it is, and it doesn’t make him feel anything, he just knows it’s something human lovers do, so he does it for Gaz. Maybe they call each other names, ZIM rants about his problems, but they’re still ok with each other’s presence. And maybe one of the few things they connect with is Dib’s reaction to their relationship, a thing they can talk and laugh about. And if there’s any love, it’s really subtle, and to anyone else it’d seem like they hate each other. That’s actually the cutest form of ZaGr I can think of 💚💜
