After reaching the foot of the Northern Mountains, Jasper and his companions let the horses return to the Castle, because the horses cannot climb the steep and rocky terrain. They come across a farmer and his family who are being attacked by bandits. The three heroes defeat to criminals and save the day! They tell the farmer about their quest. He gladly offers them 3 of his mountain beasts. "They can easily climb the mountains" He said.
The three brave souls set out with some food from the farmer as well as 3 of the beasts, who are a species related to dragons that fly, but they have no wings. They reach the base of the mountains. Jasper says "well, lets see what these cuties can do. do you think they can really-"Suddenly all 3 creatures leap up the mountainside with ease as though they were mountain goats. and soon reached the top.
