I finished this ~1 week ago, but I forgot to post
I saw a wof headcanon that icewings are slightly more likely to be Melanistic, and my brain latched on. I think at some point I came up with a story for them, but then I saw a separate post that said nightwings born under a blood moon can project their thoughts into any other dragon’s head and see terrible futures, so then I came up with a delightfully tortured albino nightwing born under 3 blood moons, pre-rainforest post-dark stalker
Then I became so obsessed with the nightwing that I entirely forgot everything about the icewing
