Last year when quarantine first started, I started watching one piece to pass the time. I’ve always been fascinated with pirates, and seeing the amazing story of one piece inspired me to create a pirate story of my own.
In the beginning, Captain Yamato started off as a story with normal humans and pirates. A man named Yamato went around arrogantly challenging all pirates, which ultimately led to his downfall. After realizing his flaws, Yamato comes back to the pirate world stronger than ever and he conquers the sea!
After a year and a half of planning, this story has evolved into something greater. Now it’s a story about a young lady named Yamato, she sets out to sea to find her sister who suddenly disappeared shortly after turning 14. She searched every corner of the world, and throughout her journey, she went on lots of amazing adventures! She also gets in a few scuffles with pirates along the way! What started out as a story about pirates, is now a great adventure story!
