Dragon Ball has been a huge part of my childhood growing up. I discovered the series from my brother when we played Budokai on PS2. It’s the reason why I got into anime and drawing in the first place, as well as working out. I didn’t realize how much Dragon Ball has made such an impact to billions of people around the world with its characters, moments, & stories.
Hearing about Akira Toriyama's death hit me hard. If there’s anything I could say to Toriyama-sensei, then I would like to say thank you for bringing joy and love with your entertainment and art. You’ve inspired me to create characters and stories of my own thanks to your craft and creativity; as well as teaching me very important life lessons and motivate me to never give up, to go even further beyond. Dragon Ball is a true masterpiece, and it will always be my favorite anime series of all time.
Thank you Akira Toriyama for everything, and may you rest in peace.
