I got inspired by this animator on YouTube (SomeThingElseYT), they created a song called “Help! Oh well…” and a music video to go with it too. I tried making this drawing a similar theme to the music video.
In a way I like what I did but there’s an overwhelming part of me that says this drawing sucks, I have a problem with apparently trying to “perfect-ionize” my art, as people tell me. I agree. I have trouble with that everywhere else too. I’m a literal “perfectionist”, It’s hard for me to go easy on myself and whenever I don’t get something right, or I make a mistake my brain just goes “what the hell did you just do you need to do better than that your failing everything you literally can’t do anything without making a mistake” and so on. I beat myself up when I don’t do something “right”. I feel like I got that from my parents, who want me to get perfect grades and be great at everything in school. I’m running out of space here. I’m continuing it in the comments.
