This drawing was made specifically for the 10th Birthday of a Brazilian Beetle Bailey Fan Group in Facebook. It's also a homage to the Brazilian Expeditionary Force,a group of approximately 25,000 men who fighted the Nazi in Italy in 1944-1945. The Brazilian Expeditionary Force joined the 5th American Army, under the commandement of General Mark Clark. The Brazilian soldiers also helped to free Turim from the Nazi occupation. The distinctive of the Brazilian soldiers was a snake smoking a pipe. "A cobra está fumando!"( The Snake is smoking) was a ironic reply to the those who said cynically it was "more likely to teach a snake how to smoke than Brazil send troops to fight the Nazi in the war".
