Today, I just recognized that I've been holding on to some pretty severe childhood trauma for the past 12 years and even though I'm happy that I acknowledged it, I just don't know how to cope with it. I'm still too afraid to get back into age regression even though my mom thinks it would be helpful with the trauma, something random triggered those memories and it involves my very strict kindergarten teacher. She wasn't all bad but she did show some pretty bad behaviors for a woman her age. She would always make condescending remarks at every mistake I made, she would always silence me when I tried to say something, always punished me for my fears, called me names because of how emotional I was and because I had severe separation anxiety, and never really let me be a child. In some ways, I had to grow up pretty quickly because of her. I was only 5 years old at the time.
