Based on two different covers: one of "Almanaque Marvel" #16 (october/november 1981),a Brazilian comic book anthology starring Marvel characters (Spider-Woman, X-Men, Nova, Fantastic Four etc) , the other is a Fred Hembeck's cover to "Comic Reader" #188. Hembeck drew Spider-Man dating Supergirl while Superman is dating Spider-Woman.Traditional pencils, digital inks and colors, digital lettering and pasteup on the background cover of "Almanaque Marvel". "Almanaque Marvel" #16 was one othe early comic books starring Marvel super-heroes I read in my life ( I was seven years old) and I have memories of my father bringing this issue to me at a night. It was the first time I saw X-Men and Nova. The "Almanaque Marvel" #16 also published the first crossover between Spider-Man and Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew). This illustration is a homage to my late father. I miss him so much!
