We don't know the name or what he is, but even if he is friendly, he is of a somewhat small stature even though he looks big but he can increase his size to a bigger one being the true form of him.
Only in certain parts he is kind of sticky but there is no problem with that since it is easily removed, he cannot fly but he can still use them to stick to any wall since it is the most sticky and viscous part of the body.
