Been practicing drawing the body, I think it was a mistake wasting so much time “trying to draw anatomy” it just made drawing the body to overwhelming to draw. Anyways, I discovered a term called “Super Manga Sketching” which is basically how actual mangakas go about drawing the body, they want to draw high quality volume of artwork in limited time, to meet deadlines and so on and they do that simply by making the anatomy of the body look convincing. If you think about this some more, you can somewhat see how Chibi art became a thing and why you often see in manga and anime deform characters at times to express the character at times. The main thing to understand to “sketch manga-style” is utilizing heads to measure body proportions, deciding on how many heads high helps make everything look convincing and last thing is expressing important body landmarks and like the rough sketch of everything needs to be refined well aka “under drawing”
