I am a fan of Vincent Van-Gogh. To understand the picture, you have to give a deeper look. What if there is no sun and just a candle. In the daylight you see the brighter light from the upper part of candle, or the wax is melted. But at the night the light becomes little, and the white wax part of the candle shines up and we call it moon. What if the shade of candle falls in sea and the continuous flow of water is maintained by a stem from sky or a bowl. Wind tries to blow up the candle. That's why day becomes night and night becomes day afterwards.
