As I walk up the stairs to the library, a young kid runs up to me.
"Are you Valerie's sister?"
Yes, this is a vent. I'm not sad or anything, so don't worry about that.
It makes me fucking furious that my sister gets all the attention. You'd think, if I was the older sibling, I'd be more popular, but no. EVERYONE knows her, and sooner or later she's gonna come over to my highschool and take away the little attention I get.
It's not like I want to own the spotlight, lots of attention can make me nervous... but having that tiny spotlight I enjoy stolen from me...
I feel like I'm always left in the shadows as 'the other one'.
I wouldn't have posted this, but I thought it looked really cool, so...
