In radiology, we have one examination using barium liquid as a contrast when evaluating the gastrointestinal tract (especially), because the X-ray alone couldn't detect internal organs as good as it can detect bones or other opacities. Barium help medical professionals to understand what happened to our internal organs. It's a simple but useful elements. I was fascinated to learn this and it will always be one of my favorite elements. 💕🙏
The color is white like milk and the patient should drank it on x-ray examination. 🥛
