Characteristics (Flavor reason for endangerment, history of discovery etc):
Found in central provinces in the Philippines, the Glowing Dragon Betta fish is known for its long build and glowing fins caused by its diet of bioluminescent plankton. It is in the same species as Betta fishes, but this one won't make a good pet because it's enormous. They are yet to be discovered because of their shy and wary nature. Despite of their scary look, the fish will not likely attack humans since they're easily scared. Its sharp teeth are only for trapping brine shrimps and daphnias which is also a part of their diet. There was an abundance of this creature before, but because of human activities, they are now endangered since their habitat is shrinking.
