A little something about Astro is that he loves magic. One time, his Grandpa gave him a spell book, and Astro thought it was fake, so he and Mike (Mike was 6 and Astro was 8) started playing around with it but then something happened with one of the spells, and Astro became incredibly interested in magic ever since then
