One great thing about mythology - it has no copyright, so the mythological characters are free to interpretation. Therefore, the following story and ideas are what I imagined/thought up.
That is the Athena I imagine…humble and honourable, wise and strong… and sad. Never giving up and always fighting for what she believes in. She’s a warrior, but not a mindless soldier… also a fact that most people seem to forget - she’s a woman, more than that, she’s the very symbol of femininity. And unlike most other gods and demigods, she doesn’t treat humanity as slaves or inferior beings…she treats them like her children.
Zeus is THE worst father imaginable and Athena hates him, she just waits for something… a sign… an opportunity… something that would give her enough strength to break free from the shackles placed on her by the olympian gods and her oppressive father. She can feel it, that moment will come soon…
