He's a very charismatic person and became a pirate because "It seemed fun and I needed money". He's surprisingly good at his job and when the crew needs to sneak in somewhere he's often used as a distraction. He's the self appointed shantyman and is a pretty great singer. Even though he's a pirate he absolutely hates dirt and is often teased about it by his crew mates.
