When it comes to Japan than there are lot of thing which comes in mind like kimono, cute girls, beautiful views, lots of fun etc but when someone asks you to summarise it and describe it in few words , then it takes more than what is needed . I thought a lot and finally come to a conclusion which you can see in my illustration, for me the thing that best describes the people of Kumamoto is the will to smile even when the times are difficult and that what wasamon is for me
