This is from one of my concept stories called, “Beyond Selshire Creek.”
It follows a man named Sohl who comes from another planet. One horrid day, his home world starts to crumble. To escape, he uses a universal teleportation device and gets stuck on earth. In order to fit into his surroundings, he uses his futuristic technology to morph into a wolf and eventually gets caught by greedy scientists who want to experiment on him. In the Selshire science lab, Sohl meets Naomi, the blind and abused daughter of the head scientist. Sohl formes a bond with this young girl, and vows to escape with her by his side.
