So, recently I had an idea for an illustration of Ariel and Flounder. I had to watch a few seconds of the movie to get Flounder's stripes right, but other than that, I had no need to watch the movie for any colors or stuff. I enjoyed doing a few tutorials from Medibang Paint's website, and I think I'm going to stick with how this shading turned out. I really enjoyed it. I did it on a few other illustrations too. And I mainly do warm colors, so doing some colors on the cool side of the color wheel was pretty awesome. I love to expiriment.
