This mask design takes the idea of a life support, the mechanical aspects inspired from machines in hospitals or laboratories framed in a fantastical light. The herbs appear to be growing out from the golden liquid of life. Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme, taken from the song ‘Scarborough Fair’ with medicinal properties to reflect healing and protection from the virus.
