SCP-7907 or the "Side Watcher" is a Keter class SCP. While it doesn't hurt people physically, it hurts them mentally. It appears mainly in the woods at first but, after seen by someone, it follows them wherever. SCP-7907 will appear to a hiker in their peripheral vision, usually peaking out from behind a tree, and stare at the person while whispering in some unknown language. After that, SCP-7907 follows said person everywhere, appearing to more and more visible each time but stays in their peripheral vision. SCP-7907's goal is to drive its prey insane and, once they do, it takes them. It keeps its prey in a place while it feeds on the mental state of the person. After about a year of feeding, it frees the person. After they're released, though, they refuse to answer any questions asked about it. A few months being released from the mental feeding, the person begins to seek out SCP-7907 and tries to get other people to look at it and become another empty shell that was once a person.
