This was the culmination of my gesture practice, but I didn’t foresee MB crashing and so I lost the initial version of it. I was frustrated, devastated, assaulted by a mixture of weird emotions and I hated/hate it. I still am slightly sad that I couldn’t get that version of the drawing back, so I’m mad at MB, but I’m also thankful. This experience brought another of my bad/weak sides into light. Since something like that rarely happens, I haven’t focused on this issue of mine ever before. When I lose progress, be it a drawing, a game… I become so frustrated and, like I mentioned before, get assaulted by a mixture of terrible feelings. I HATE the way I react and I want to get stronger eventually learning to accept these unfortunate loses. I approached drawing the second version of this drawing with “I’ll make it even better” mindset and I love how I turned out AND it took only 7 minutes to draw. I’ll give myself some bonus points(it’s a me thing, don’t worry if it makes no sense to you)
