This is my rendition on 1997 Meramon design from C'mon Digimon manga. I'm not quite sure about it's tail, but the original art did implied that it have one. Besides, Devimon (it's alternate counterpart in Digimon Vpet V1) also have tail back then. Plus, the tail make him look more like a fiery djinn for me!
