Man...
Oh boy, THIS- this has been quite the journey, and ALSO a Contest entry for the December contest of winter.
After watching a tutorial on YouTube I started messing around with using stencil layers and mask layers to use for shadowing, which were really useful. Aside that I also was trying out layer effects for shadowing, witch came out really handy (a miracle happened somewhere between doing that and it made the piece 100 times better, so shout-out to medibang?). And last but definitely not least... I might've abused the power of textured brushes, just a tiny bit... like for the mist.. and the shines... and the shadows... alright fine I used them for most the effects.
Really happy with how this ended up, now THIS does looks like a sunrise (right? pls tell I am not wrong...), not like the old one I did of sunrise at the forest, let us compare both results...
