My second entry for the 2nd Trace & Draw Illustration Contest: BFF.
Featuring my original characters Liz (left) and Reina (right).
Best Friends can also be good rivals! These two started out as academic rivals since primary school ages until their highschool years. Honestly, Reina wasn't trying to compete at first, it was Liz that lost to Reina and declared a challenge afterwards. Gradually, the two had grown used to best each other academically, from rivals to friends indeed.
