One time my father said that his drawing teacher at one of the schools he attended was Mangabeira, the cartoonist who created the mascots for all the clubs in Minas Gerais state . My paternal grandfather supported Atlético Mineiro and one of my paternal uncles' brothers supported América de Minas.
In this drawing I tried to show what these mascots would look like if they had been made by American animators from the 1940s and 1950s as Tex Avery, Chuck Jones and Friz Freleng.
