I was not expecting the dad to look like that. Despite appearances, the mom is older, with a 5-year gap. She was married before but divorced and cut ties to her family. Belphoebe was her name before she changed it and lied about her age. From my notes, the dad was a decent man with bad luck finding love until he met her. I only plan on showing them for Seraphina's memories or past events. They aren't present in the story
