元旦，對日本來說很重要日子。除了元旦是國定假日之外，也是有在這天看日出的文化習慣。對著象徵日本的太陽，祈福新一年的決意與願望。經歷一整年的辛勞，直到看到日出的那一刻，新的一年新的開始，如此循環著。對我來說，看元旦日出這件事，是最具代表的"和"。
