I saw a drawing from Kishimoto-sensei that was on display in the Weekly Jump's 50th Anniversary exhibition last year of Boruto looking at the first volume cover of the Naruto manga. Boruto was also gathering items from the cover, and I thought it would be fun to finish the homage. The damaged jacket is based off of the Boruto movie.
The Naruto series is one of my biggest inspiration for drawing, and I'd like to thank Kishimoto-sensei for all his hard work in those 15 years.
