Charlie is one of my original characters that came from a rich family of business people. He is the oldest of two. As the first born and the only son in the family, it is only natural that he will inherit his family's business and will continue and develop the said business into an empire that would export goods and other products.
In this picture, he is actually listening to his father talking about his plans to open and build another factory and branch office abroad. Charlie is smiling in this picture because he thinks that it is a good idea and would like to take part of the development of the new factory and branch office this Father intents to do. In another word, it is a good way to "learn by doing".
