These words, spoken by people he once knew swirled through his mind as he slowly walked on the jagged ground, not minding his footing. His clothes were torn and ripped in all places. He slipped again, but stood right back up, ignoring the wound on his arm. He slowly reached the end of his journey, eyes staring at his final goal.
He reached for a bright light, his only target was to reach that light, and gain what it provided, happiness.
