Now I don't believe it's a secret but if you don't know I use ibis paint X for my art and since I haven't used Medi as my main for years I thought I'd try it out again. Not a huge fan.
This isn't to say Medi is bad whatsoever, in fact it's one of the better free art programs but it doesn't quite work for me. Probably doesn't help I'm sick as fuck right now-I don't like the pen pressure or blending of brushes. I also don't like how little you're able to edit brushes outside of pattern brushes (which I really wish Ibis Paint had making comics would be so much easier I could have a rock brush a tree bark brush ibis paint pls add). The layer settings feel really limited and look differently than they do in other programs I've used? Could just be me. Not to mention the lag and pixely nature of a lot of brushes and like half of them are premium now.
I do wanna try to figure out how medi can work for me again since I like using different programs every so often but we'll see what happens.
